Scott J. Hedlund is an associate concentrating in the area of construction litigation and law with a focus on the defense of design professionals, including architects and engineers, and contractors. His practice includes coverage defenses under various insurance policies as well as the emerging field of green building design and LEED certification. Additionally, Mr. Hedlund’s practice involves the filing and protection of security interests, including lien rights. He practices in both state and federal court.
Mr. Hedlund is a licensed Engineering Intern, and is a member of the Young Leadership Council. He holds an M.B.A. in addition to the J.D. he earned from Louisiana State University in 2006. While at LSU, he was a member of the ATLA Trial Advocacy Team. He is a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Brother Martin High School.
