Joshua G. Keller is a partner with the firm and member of the civil litigation department. His practice centers around the defense of personal injury claims and cases involving products liability, professional liability, toxic tort and premises liability. Mr. Keller has defended national corporations and local establishments in Louisiana State and Federal Courts. He has worked closely with claims adjusters, managers and third party administrators for both national and foreign insurance companies. Mr. Keller also has experience handling insurance coverage issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Keller worked for Production Fastening Systems, LLC, a distributor of stainless steel welding products to large construction and offshore oil companies. His experience with this industry helped him successfully defend claims involving scaffolding accidents, equipment failure, premises defect, slip & fall and work-related accidents.
Community involvement is important to Mr. Keller. For several years, he was coach of the Carrollton Playground 14-15 Year-Olds Boys Baseball Program. He is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association, Recreational Fisheries Research Institute and he is a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi. Mr. Keller earned his J.D. from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Mr. Keller has experience representing clients in federal multi-district litigation. He represents defendants in FEMA formaldehyde litigation as well as Chinese Dry Wall litigation.
Crisis Management
Mr. Keller has experience with on-site crisis management. In March 2009, during an active tie-in project at the Marathon Oil Facility in Garyville, Louisiana, an oil sump caught fire and exploded. The explosion resulted in one death and serious injuries to other employees. Mr. Keller arrived the day after the explosion and he remained on site for the following week. Mr. Keller operated alongside company officials in the local command center. He was directly responsible for coordinating with local, state and federal investigators, including the CSB, OSHA, State Police, PHMSA and safety investigating teams to ensure preservation of evidence, accurate witness interviews and proper testing of critical equipment.
