DK&S Named Best Place to Work in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Local weekly newspaper New Orleans CityBusiness has named Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles number one in their list of the Best Places to Work in New Orleans for 2007 (Large Businesses Category). This marks the third year in a row that the firm has been named to the list, and the first year the firm has topped it.
Work-life balance and a true concern for employees are among the reasons for bestowing the honor, according to the newspaper. The firm's benefits package, and especially its vacation package, are also highlighted.
When asked what makes the firm a great place to work, attorney and management member Robert E. Kerrigan, Jr. says, “It's the care that the firm, as well as all the partners, gives all our employees. It's our desire to see them grow in their jobs and hopefully into other jobs up the ladder. ”
Human Resources Director Markell Currault-Holmes also points to the many firm events where there are no lines drawn in the sand among attorneys and employees, such as the firm's Holiday Party. "It's not separated," says Currault-Holmes. "Everyone is involved."
