DK&S Attorney Speaks on Default Termination

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Charles F. Seemann, Jr., a partner in the New Orleans office of Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles, will be speaking at the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry's Spring Meeting on April 24-26 in La Quinta, California. The topic of the presentation will be "The Owner's Problem on Default Termination."
This presentation is one of many Seemann has given on construction and contract surety law topics before a wide variety of construction industry groups, including national meetings of the ASME and ASCE, the New Orleans Chapter of ASHRAE, the Local Chapter of AGC, and the Greater New Orleans Business Roundtable, as well as at meetings of the Louisiana Association of School Executives and the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers. He has also presented and published papers on fidelity bonds at meetings of the American Bar Association.
Seemann is an accomplished construction attorney who is a former president and director of both the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel and of the New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation. He was awarded the prestigious Cornerstone Award by the Construction Industry Forum of the American Bar Association in 2003, and was elected to the American College of Construction Lawyers in 2006.
