DK&S Named "Go-To Law Firm" in Labor & Employment

NEW ORLEANS, LA.– Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles has been named a "Go-To Law Firm" by Corporate Counsel Magazine for its Labor & Employment work for Progressive Insurance. This honor is based on a survey of general counsel at top U.S. companies which the magazine conducted, and will be published in that magazine's reference guide, called In-House Law Departments at the Leading Financial Services Companies.
Ellis B. Murov is the partner at the firm who handles Progressive's legal work. Mr. Murov serves as co-department head of the Labor and Employment Law Section, and advises and litigates in federal and state courts in the areas of labor & employment, business, and intellectual property. He also has an administrative law practice before the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. Mr. Murov has served as an adjunct professor of labor law at Loyola University School of Law. He is experienced in alternative dispute resolution and the American Arbitration Association has selected him to serve on a panel of arbitrators for employment disputes arising in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana.
