Francis Courtenay Jr. and Raymond Lewis Join DK&S

New Orleans, La. – Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles is pleased to announce that Francis A. Courtenay Jr. and Raymond C. Lewis have joined the firm's New Orleans office.
Francis A. Courtenay Jr. has joined Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles as a partner in the marine & energy department. His practice focuses on wrongful death, personal injury and property damage claims, Jones Act claims, offshore construction claims, and vessel collisions. He is also experienced in international trade and business transactions, and has handled a wide variety of professional, products, and premises liability issues, as well as insurance coverage issues. Mr. Courtenay is very involved in the local maritime industry, and has previously been named Maritime Man of the Year for New Orleans.
Raymond C. Lewis has joined the firm as an associate in the civil litigation
department. He has experience in trial and in oral arguments, and has litigated
complex commercial lawsuits, contractual disputes, multi-district litigation,
insurance coverage cases, environmental litigation, tax-related litigation, and
eminent domain litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He has also
presented materials on environmental regulation issues to attorneys and business
professionals.
